Sig Heil, (if that is how its spelled) what a terrible thing to announce. I mean I can understand paying tribute with a salute, even if the salute is to a evil person. What is so scary is, here are nice looking young white adults, with a serious scowls on their faces, slamming their hand to their chest. I don't think it has anything to do with Hitler. I think if you tell a person that all that is wrong with their life can be attributed to all that are different then you stand a chance of convincing them they can improve by the hating what they think is the cause of their inferiority.

I was giving my son a history lesson in race relations, (I grew up close to Oakland, in the 60's) He made a comment about the blacks hating the whites. Hell son, we were two separate groups, the only thing that we had in common is we were human beings and we went to the same school, (busing). Aside that we had not a lot in common. Why in the world would we like each other. I give him the same old tired speech about different doesn't mean bad, you know we are all people, we all have the same feelings.

Of all the stuff I write about this seems to come up often. I think the reason is, is because I am not very understanding of the need to hate what is different, hey there is lots to hate that we know is bad. So lets not waste all that good hate on what we are unsure of.

I have an idea, next time we hear a disparaging remark about something different lets, ( all are those that are on the fence) remark that we agree with the difference. Even though you might be considered argumentative and a traitor to your kind, be it white or a Ford owner, I think you might be surprised that those that are making such remarks are making them out of ignorance and they really wish we all agreed to be different. They really are looking for agreement to like that what is different. I know I am.
