your called on it, or your next reaction to survive will have one less option.
Remember Inspector Clouseau and Kato. Katos job was to keep Clouseau on his toes by laying in wait, then wham. Well I have my own version of this, only Kato is a rooster, and Clouseau is a chicken and I be the chicken. Got this rooster, he's been around four or five years, he managed to get through the culling periods and never got ate by those things that eat these things. My 16 year old, 12 at the time, would tease him and then he would shoot him with his BB gun, I mean unload on him, it is just a little one cock BB gun but I would have thought. Anyway my son got this bird to a frenzy when ever they were close to each other so natuaraly my son the bully is now scarred of the rooster and I won't let him use unfair tactics to do away with him so we now have a yard bully.
Here is a run down of what its like for me to venture out of the house.
OK I'm out the back door and going to check the pump house or just look at the sunset, ladi da ladi da, then I hear this tapping noise and all of a sudden a chill goes down my spine some times he is ten feet away sometimes two feet. He stomps the ground and comes at me sideways. Most times he is on for a chalange. Depending on how bad he scared me creeping up on me, depends on if I am up to the challenge. Its only a chicken, but still. If I decide to go about my buisiness I have to keep gaurd and that is especialy hard when your scared. You just can't turn your back on him or he jumps, so. If I'm hammering a nail I end up bending the nail or hitting my thumb, so, like I say its decision time. OK %@## @#@R% it my #@#% yard and I ain't going nowhere, ( thats a bluff but hes a chicken and he don't know no different) OK you want to fight lets get it on. Face off, now I'm a lot bigger and one good grab around his neck and he is done, ( even if he is a stupid chicken even animals understand size matters) but nooooooooooo he don't understand, he jumps, son of a *(^)_ he jumped, that chill down my back is now flush over my whole soul. There is only one thing to do, fake it, and again Face off, this is ussualy repeated a few times and I then I holler for the dogs, Holly, ( little chiauaa) and Pup-per (tri ausie, and a cat chasing machine at that). We have both survived to battle another day.

Think about this, the next time you get those claws in your back as your hauling *** running away.
