No Confidence Vote
Oh man, its just two weeks to election day, or just one week after getting my mail in ballot, in the mail, or 4 days after the first early voting day or three days before another early voting day. Just when is the official voting time, and what does it matter?
I always felt like voting day was special. The bars were closed, a candidate had to keep a certain distance from the polling place, ( like child molesters and drug dealers from the schools) no campaigning on that day. You know what Im talking about, something special was happening. I dont have that feeling anymore, and here is why.
Lets start with the candidate who doesnt like Mexicans, not just the illegals, but the nice ones as well. He doesnt like them just because of the fact that they are Mexican. At least that was the drift I got when he said, " if you build that park you know lots of those people who play soccer will come out and take it over on the weekends". So in my book, when he says he will represent everyone if elected, he is a liar. How can you vote for someone that you know is a liar ? He is not the only candidate I know that is a liar , he is not the only one I think is a liar. As a matter of fact the only thing I know about the candidates are what they or their friends tell me.
I think the voting public is up a creek will out a paddle.
I used to think that those who ran for office had altruistic motives in mind. Not any more. Do a little research and you might find that those who run for office are local business operators, big business operators, silver spoon fed heir appearance, deadbeats, liars, cheats and frauds. That is the pool from whence most are found.
Business operators, small or big, have an interest in the business of making money off their interests. That business is not your business of living and striving toward the American Dream. That dream only comes when you position yourself close to the rule making process. That does not include your right to vote.
OK, so now I hear, "go live in some other country where you are not free to choose" Understood, it could be worse. Do you understand it could be better?
Think about the numbers for a minute. You dont see "Joe" who works at the local production plant running for any office, because he is too busy trying to get by. He believes that those being elected are going to support his interests, so he votes. He doesnt have time to research the issues, there just aint enough time, let alone filter through the campaigners claims. The numbers are not reflective of officials representing their peers, hence comes the words constituents and colleagues. Those who get elected are not on the stump, figuratively or literally, saying you are my people, because they dont have a clue what the working public has to deal with, nor are they even aware, they aren't even aware. The system is set and if you question the status quo, you will invite trouble from those who run things. And that is the moral of the story here, no law or no rule runs the show, those with the biggest stick do. At least we should be aware that there isnt really any attempt to follow the principle of the constitution/bill or rights. That thought is a fairy tale
So, since I have no confidence in the candidates I wont vote for them. I think I will vote against those who I know are liars and take my chances on the one I am voting for.
I hope I didnt ruin your day, or more importantly your three week block of voting time.
Man, this is scary. I need to think about this, how about you.
Could it be, that one candidate just doesnt like soccer players?
