Tracking Device

Any of you out there ever been to jail? I don’t mean no 30 days farm vacation, I mean to jail, either a lengthy county jail time or prison. I don’t have a lot of credentials for this, a few here a few there. But only a few told me a whole bunch, I would not want to do time, period. However, if I had to, I would prefer to do it alone. I would also like some books and a TV and phone privileges. Anything but having to do time with a bunch of monsters and cons. One thing for sure I would not care one iota how much it cost to keep me locked up, as a matter of fact, I would probably try to have more money
and attention paid to me so my stay could be more interesting.

Loosing your freedom is a bitch, no doubt. Loosing your freedom, in Angola is a
hell of a lot different than a, federal, working prison farm.
Being as I am on the outside, I don’t care where they are, as long as they are not
in my neighborhood.   However, I am concerned about the cost, the recidivism, and those that don’t
recidivisit. So whats a society to do. I have a workable idea, I didn’t think it up but  I will help push the idea up to someone who is listenable.
First off, pretty much whoever is sent to jail, I don’t wish them misery, I don’t
even wish them a bad stay, I just don’t want to pay the “thousands of dollars a year” cost for the stay. They should pay for it, not us. How, you ask, easy. Turn them loose. There are plenty of places on the face of the earth that are habitable, downright beautiful, that are no where near the law abiding sector where the wrongdoers could be dropped off.  Why not. It could and would work. And I would wager that most anyone who  is and would be involved in the/this system (Cops or Robbers) would be happier than what is happening now.
Just for simplification, (so you don’t start explaining medical and dental and
other workable things to this thought) give them a few shovels, sewing stuff, you know the basics, stuff that will let them survive and maybe prosper. What would the options to this kind of sentence be. They those that broke the law, would have two options.  Both options would work, both options have worked.
Upon being set free in their sentence they say to themselves, I choose option
number one, I will work with the current structure, or not. A completely free choice, free choice. Or they can choose option number two. And say this is not fair, it is cruel and unusual punishment I have rights as a human being.
If option number two is acted on by some, feel sorry for the lawbreaker
type. He will be cast into the sentence so they may talk about it.
This is a completely do-able thought, but no one can expound or make money off
of it. So Think About That, the next time you get robbed.
