Remember when Metalica went before Congress to complain about how much money they were losing through MP3 file sharing on the internet,   telling  congress they should regulate this music file sharing stuff,    what a crock.   And all the court stuff, Metalica-Naptser   Metalica- Napster,   Metalica-Naptser and the 9th circuit court never got as much press as when Napster was appealing the courts decision.       I am sure Metalica righteously feel that everyone should pay for there music,   no doubt it belongs to them and they  should be compensated for it,  they worked hard to build it, play it and market it.

Does Metalica  have any idea how hard,   costly and time consuming it is to download music?

Does Metalica have any idea how much press they got because of  a few geeks, with no life,  recording their music.   You bet they do.

Do I have any idea how much time, and money I have spent downloading the approximately 80 songs I have archived, (archiving means,   something that takes time) oh yea I have no idea, way too much of both.

A simple solution for the artist,  create a program where I can buy an individual song, I don't want the lame stuff they add to the few good songs on a C D  ( incidentally I have never purchased a C D nor has Metalica purchase ad space in the paper)               why would we when we both get it for free.

I think next I am going to download the Bridges of Madison County.  In my speed of light 24.4 connection that should take about two light years, plus four hours if I get the theme song.
