I'm not sure how I feel about, this
,,, Now,,, I'm extending myself on this one, in that I have always felt women would do a
better job than men, in these decisions making positions, ( not to be mistaken with a
leadership position, women can’t lead men effectively) but but but,. I am not so sure
anymore. OK here goes,
Career women have definitely taken on a different attitude in the past few years.
As this equal opportunity, affirmative action thing, has peaked for black men, the women
are now starting to be used. Yes used, so get over it.
Women, like all minorities have had to struggle to pass the barrier that the
WASP’s set for them. And I do understand it is well beyond what us WASP’s from
time to time have to deal with but we have an “idea” of what it is, in a weekend
warrior
sort of way, OK . OK.
But all that clawing and compromising have taken its toll. What we are seeing is
only the ruthless are making it. Those that have that,,,,,understanding, I have been there
attitude, can’t work with the big boys. Its a do or die situation for them, they
choose
survival in the work place or survival at the lower ranks. That is sad. My hope is
they were bitches before, so that an enthusiastic and strong women was not been turned
into one.
Before I end this, I would appreciate a work, (or play), place that was fairly
represented, by including the many qualified minorities. But that doesn’t seem to be
what happens as most of the ethically strong, don’t even get close. Some of the good
white men can fake the heartlessness, appearances you know.
Anyway, I hope I didn’t alienate any group. Just something for the men to have
the women think about.
