Whats this thing about a biological clock, I dont mean the clack, clack, clacking type of biological clock either. I mean the daily rhythm clock, eat, sleep, sex and shower, ( boy you sure could play with those four words), anyway. Sleep is the one that has me baffled, and if I baffled about something I usually can baffle someone else by writing about it.
I asked my Grandfather, who was 85 at the time, what he felt contributed to his longevity. He said "go to bed at the same time and get up at the same time. My thought was good advice but Im ****** cause I am uneducated and destined for shift work.. Then I thought he never said go to bed at 8:00pm and get up at 4:00am. He said same time same time.
One time in my life I would rise at 5:00am and be out the door at 5:10am. I remember it as a time of routine, easy to go to sleep and easy to get up. That routine lasted as long as me, my wife and 3 year old lived in a 16 foot camp trailer on the job site.
But for the rest of my life, I have never been able to comfortably rise before, 6:30am, never any earlier. Many many periods I would not rise before 11:00am, for a myriad of reasons. But for bafflement purposes, its the get up early thing thats got me.
I am not a morning person, I would like to be because I think its the healthy thing to be, but I am not. I have tried to be a morning person, because people always respond suspiciously when your in bed at 10:00am, and then my responses started venturing into misleading reasons, like oh man I didnt get to sleep till 2:00am.
Another thing is the length a person sleeps. Personally I think the time an individual needs varies depends on what his day activities are. I want to say, on the record that I am suspicious of anyone who says they need less than 5 hours, I dont trust em just look in their eyes. Besides most of those folks rank on those of us that need 9 plus a night or day
If I could be serious for a minute, ( I would probably have a regular job). Sleep is more cultural, than biological. If necessity calls for early to bed early to rise, the biology of it makes it easy. But if it aint necessary to get up, for your purpose in life, what is the point.
Whats all this mean, nothing, nothing, nothing. The thought is what is important, its what I do. I could be into arts and crafts, collect match books, or chair an organization who purpose is to promote the acceptance of arts and crafts, through government sponsorships. But noooooooo, I think its more important to wonder why.
When we as a society start to question the status quo, we may find out that change is what the status quo wants.
What if we divided up the states, into a race, creed, color, religion, sexual preference, place of origin, mindset, etc. etc. etc. states. The leader could mix and match to his preference.
Almost finished, Think about that Friday.
I don't know the story behind this camp, what I do know is it is trashed up. It is in between the local river and the interstate, a few hundred yards from downtown. It is one of three, "homes". with a few clasic cars, that no longer transport anything but the information they display'

Around town, at a few select corners, there are beggers with their dogs and carboard signs,
Will work for Food, disabled Vet. ,,,,, or..... please donate, for food,..... or will accept food.
I will go out on a limb and say this is their place.
Weather it is or not, whoever belongs to these camps show the reason they are on a corner, vet or no, they have no pride, so why the flag.

I have allways thought, hey they want to live in a tent, no problem from me, sometime the elements are easier to deal with than the system. I would prefer they were out back somewhere, and not because I don't want to see them. I am tired of looking at the pile of shit they accumulate.
One thing I know for sure, no one wants to look at this junkyard. The same system that won't take responsibility for these outcast, haven't got the guts to tell them to clean up or move out.
It a rule thing.
My thanksgiving was OK, how was yours.
