I’m feeling Christmasy and it Sunday, and I’m wierded
out from keeping Raccoon watch,
and I’m just too tired to bitch, so.
All the nice happy things I was going to write would have been here but something just
popped into my mind.
I’m not much into locks, fences, passwords and that kind of thing, of course I
don’t live in the city, or town either. And thats why I don’t live in town or a
big city.
There is something about locking up when you leave, I mean that is a heck of a
way to live. Always wondering if someone is going to take your stuff, or something
might get away, (ok I got some coons locked up, temporary only) such a possessive
possession thing.
Have you ever wondered how much of your time is spent protecting
yourself and your possessions or better yet, thinking about what you would like to with
that energy.
I have an idea, it won’t work, but I still have it.
Nothing belongs to no one, pure voluntary, it would have to be an evolved happening.
Start it with your spouse, whats mine is your, whats...... OK. Some things would have
to be worked out, move on down to the kids OK some more things would have to be
worked out. But basically, we have no ownership per/say. More things would have
to be worked out.
Now is where it gets easier, lets take a bicycle. Why do people take bikes that
don’t belong to them, transportation, nope. They sell em to make money, but those
that buy them use them for transportation. I heard that someone in Portland Or.
donated a bunch of bikes to the city, I don’t know the particulars but the bikes were
painted for identification, with the suggestion when the user was finished with the bike
it would just be left just for the next person. OK, more things to work out..
Regardless that most everything, including attitudes, would have to be worked
on, the only real problem would be weather the users would just leave them when they
were finished.
Two solutions come to mind, if you don’t share, you can’t play with the bikes
and if that doesn’t work, put the Hells Angles in charge of enforcement. The ones
that
did not go along with the program would be weeded out real quick like.
